To collect your vehicle, please provide:
- Passport or National Identity Card
- Valid driving licence
- Permanent residential address
- Landline contact number
- Secondary landline reference
- Your planned travel itinerary
Rental Conditions
- Standard daily allowance: 100 km
- Additional kilometres are charged separately.
- Fuel is not included.
- Vehicles are supplied with a full fuel tank and should be returned full.
- Rental periods are calculated by calendar day.
- Monthly rentals are calculated as 28 days.
- Vehicles returned after the agreed return time may incur an additional day’s rental.
Security Deposit
Refundable security deposits apply as follows:

Accident & Insurance
In the unlikely event of an accident:
- The local police should be informed where required.
- The insurance assessor will inspect the vehicle.
- Replacement vehicles will be arranged as quickly as possible where available.
- Customer liability is generally limited to the refundable security deposit.
- Personal accident insurance provides coverage up to LKR 500,000 per person.
Child Policy
Child seats can be arranged upon request, subject to availability.

- Drivers must hold a valid licence recognised in Sri Lanka.
- Additional drivers must be declared before collection.
- Vehicles must only be driven within Sri Lanka.
- Certain remote or restricted areas may require prior approval.

International Driving Permit Assistance
Most foreign visitors require a valid driving permit recognised for use in Sri Lanka.
Who Requires a Permit?
Generally, foreign visitors driving in Sri Lanka require:
- A valid foreign driving licence
- An International Driving Permit (IDP)
- Local validation where applicable
Many visitors choose to obtain validation through the Automobile Association of Ceylon (AA) before beginning their journey.

- Copy of your passport information page
- Passport-size colour photograph

We will submit the application to the Automobile Association of Ceylon on your behalf.
Alternatively, you may visit either authority personally with your original documents to obtain a three-month driving permit.
