Mahaweli River Expedition Sri Lanka

Embark on an unforgettable 3-day river expedition along Sri Lanka’s Mahaweli River, the island’s longest and most iconic waterway, with CCT Sri Lanka. This journey combines adventure kayaking, wilderness camping, wildlife encounters, and teamwork-based exploration, offering a rare opportunity to experience Sri Lanka far from its usual tourist routes.

As you paddle through sections of the Flood Plains National Park and Somawathiya National Park, the landscape continuously shifts between wetlands, open river plains, forest edges, and remote river channels. Along the way, expect rich biodiversity, birdlife, elephants near the riverbanks, and a deep sense of untouched wilderness.
